Adı her sezon Türk kulüpleriyle anılan İspanyol forvet Fernando Torres sezon sonunda Atletico Madrid kariyerine son vereceğini açıkladı.

Son olarak geçtiğimiz sezon adı Beşiktaş ile anılan Fernando Torres’in yeni adresini Sky Sports’tan Guillem Balague açıkladı.

Usta gazeteci paylaştığı bilgilerde, “Torres’in ayrılmak için 2 nedeni var. 1. neden Diego Simeone’nin Torres’in kalması için çabalamayacak olması.  Atletico Madrid’te emekli olmak istiyordu ama bu mümkün olmadı. Takımda kendisine alternatif çok isim var. Örneğin Real Madrid’e karşı 1 dakika bile oynamadı. Kevin Gameiro, Angel Correa, Antoine Griezmann ve Diego Costa gibi isimler ona tercih ediliyor. 2.neden Atletico Madrid efsanesinin Diego Simeone mi yoksa Fernando Torres mi olduğu. Torres bu tartışmalarda yer almak istemedi. Biraz daha futbol oynamak istiyor yeni adresinin ABD ya da Çin olacağını düşünüyorum. Çocukları İngilizce konuşuyorlar, belki de şimdi Çince öğrenirler. Uzak Doğu yeni adresi olabilir.” ifadelerini kullandı.
