Vedat Muriqi’i yedeklemek isteyen Sarı-Lacivertliler aradığı ismi Avusturya’da buldu. Akşam gazetesinin haberine göre Sarı-Lacıvertlilerin Salzburg’ta top koşturan Kosova asıllı golcü Mergim Berisha’yla ilgilendiği bildirildi. 21 yaşındaki golcü oyuncu için Bundesliga ekibiyle temas kuruldu.

Öte yandan Nachrichten’e açıklamalarda bulunan Red Bull Salzburg Başkanı Siegmund Gruber “Erling Haaland ve Takumi Minamino takımdan ayrıldı. Daha da ayrılacak isimler var. Mergim Berisha da Fenerbahçe ile görüşüyor” ifadesini kullandı.
