Rezan Epözdemir tarafından İstanbul Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı’na yapılan suç duyurusunda gerekçe olarak, ’23 Mart’ta korona virüsü hastalığına yakalandığını duyurmasının ardından üç Twitter kullanıcısının ayrı ayrı yaptığı paylaşımlarında itibar ve saygınlığının zedelendiği, küfür edildiği ve terör örgütleriyle bağlantılı olduğu yönünde iftira atıldığı’ gösterildi.
