UEFA‘nın, koronavirüs pandemisi yüzünden ertelenen UEFA Şampiyonlar Ligi müsabakalarını “8’li Final” şeklinde Portekiz’in başkenti Lizbon‘da oynatmaya karar verdiği ve bu kararını 17 Haziran’da duyurcağını belirtti.

Bild’ın haberine göre Almanya’da Frankfurt ve Rusya’da ise başkent Moskova şehrinin finallere talip olduğunu ancak Şampiyonlar Ligi’nde mücadele eden Portekiz takımının bulunmamasının, gereken stadyum sayısınına sahip olmasının ve koronavirüs vaka sayılarının yönetilebilir olmasının Lizbon’u bir adım öne çıkardığı kaydedildi.

Normal şartlarda, Şampiyonlar Ligi finali 29 Mayıs 2020 tarihinde, İstanbul Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadyumunda gerçekleşecekti.
