Beşiktaş yönetimi gelecek sezon için forvet arayışlarını sürdürürken, gündeme Partizanlı Umar Sadiq gelmişti.

Oyuncunun kulübü ile görüşmelerde bulunan siyah beyazlı yönetim, bu görüşmelerden sonuç çıkartamadı. Beyaz TV muhabiri Ertan Süzgün‘ün aktardığı bilgilere göre; Beşiktaş, bonservis sorununun çözülememesi nedeniyle Umar Sadiq defterini kapattı.

Ara transfer döneminde Roma‘dan Sırp ekibi Partizan‘a transfer olan 23 yaşındaki forvet, ligde çıktığı 24 maçta 12 gol 13 asistlik performansıyla Partizan adına kilit rol oynamayı başardı.

Oyuncunun kulübü olan Partizan’ın transfer görüşmelerinde kapıyı 15 milyon euro’dan açtığı iddia edilmişti.
