diyagonal.net Dış Haberler | İtalyan devi Roma’nın yeni stadında yolsuzluk yapıldığı iddiası İtalya’da gündem oldu.

Görevli savcının yaptığı açıklamada, Roma’dan kimsenin soruşturmaya dahil olmadığını açıklandı. Tutuklananlar arasında stadyumun inşaat ihalesini elinde bulunduran Eurnova’nın sahibi Luca Parnassi ve 8 kişinin olduğu ifade edildi.

Roma Belediye Başkanı Virginia Raggi ise yaşananlar hakkında : “Yasal gereklilikleri destekleyeceğiz.” ifadelerini kullandı. Stadyum projesi ilk olarak, Roma Başkanı James Pallotta tarafından 2014’de açıklanmış ve 16/17 sezonu için yetişmesinin öngörüldüğü bildirilmişti.

Ancak eğitim, eğlence gibi geniş kapsamlı ulaşım çalışmalarını içeren projeye yönelik çevresel kaygılar ve kamuoyuna yönelik eleştiriler nedeniyle çalışmalar hala daha başlayamadı.
