Real Madrid’in, La Liga’da Cristiano Ronaldo’ya kavuştuğu Real Betis maçında evdeki hesap çarşıya uymadı. Maçı 1- 0 kaybeden Real Madrid’in Santos’a ait olan ve egale ettiği 73 maç üst üste gol atma rekorunu kırma hayali gerçekleşmedi. Bu yenilgiyle 5 haftada 8 puanda kalan Real Madrid, sezona beşte beşle giren Barcelona’nın 7 puan gerisine düştü. Ligde evindeki üç maçta iki puanda kalan Real Madrid son 20 yılın en kötü iç saha başlangıcını yaptı. Madrid ekibi, en son 1995-96 sezonunda ilk üç iç saha maçını kazanamamış, hattta o zaman sadece bir puan alabilmişti.

Real Madrid’in Betis maçında aldığı darbelerle bunlarla sınırlı kalmadı. Takımın devamlılığı en yüksek isimlerinden Marcelo sakatlanıp ikinci yarıda çıkmak zorunda kaldı. Yedek sol bek Theo Hernandez’in sakatlığı da en az iki hafta daha süreceğinden şu anda bu pozisyon için tek aday Nacho Fernandez kalmış görünüyor.

Real Madrid’de bu isimler dışında Karim Benzema, Jesus Vallejo ve Mateo Kovacic’in de sakatlıkları devam ediyor.
