Hatırlanacağı üzere, deprem felaketi sonrasında “Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığı olarak liglerimizin yayıncı kuruluşu olan beIN Media Group ile yaptığımız görüşmeler neticesinde sporun birleştirici gücünü vurgulamak maksadıyla ligin bundan sonraki 2 haftasındaki (3-13 Mart tarihleri arasında) tüm futbol müsabakalarını şifresiz ve herkese açık hale getirecek bir uygulama kararı alındı.” açıklamasını yapmıştı.
