Diego Costa, vergi kaçakçılığından yargılandı

İspanya La Liga takımlarından Atletico Madrid’de forma giyen Brezilya asıllı İspanyol forvet oyuncusu Diego Costa, vergi kaçırma suçundan dolayı 6 ay hapis cezasına çarptırıldı.

1.1 milyon Euro vergi kaçırmayla suçlanıyor

2014 yılında Atletico Madrid’den Chelsea’ye transfer olan golcü o dönem reklam gelirleriyle bağlantılı bazı vergilerinde usulsüzlük yapmakla suçlanmıştı. İspanya Maliye Bakanlığı tarafından mahkemeye verilen golcü oyuncunun suçu ispat edildi. Madrid Mahkemesi 1.1 milyon Euro vergi kaçırmayla suçlanan Diego Costa’ya 6 ay hapis cezası vermekle birlikte, golcü oyuncunun mahkumiyeti toplam 36 bin Euro olarak para cezasına çevrildi. Chelsea’ye transfer olduğu dönemde ikametini Madrid’den aldıran dolayısıyla İspanya’da vergi yükümlülüğü bulunmadığı şeklinde savunma yapan Diego Costa mahkemeyi ikna edemedi.
